Reform Eltham is a boutique Pilates studio in Eltham offering both Clinical classes with qualified Physiotherapists or Osteopaths and dynamic Reform Pilates classes. We have classes to suit everyone of all fitness levels and all ages.

why pilates?

Pilates builds strength and tone without creating muscle bulk. We aim to improve activation of stabilising muscles, create length in tight muscles which ultimately reduces your risk of injury.

A primary focus of our classes is the targeting and isolation of our deep core muscles. We refer to these muscles as the “T-zone”. Targeting these core muscles not only improves the strength of the abdominal and oblique muscles it also helps to stabilise the muscles of the mid back and lower back. A strong core helps to reduce back pain, improve posture and overall alignment.

Release of endorphins helps you feel more positive and energised. It also improves your concentration, stress management and relaxation.

Pilates creates long lean muscles that improves strength, tone, flexibility and posture. It also helps to flatten the lower stomach, tones the inner thighs, lifts the buttock muscles and gives you more defined and toned arms.

Great for those suffering from joint problems including Osteoporsis as we can strengthen without adding load to a painful and sore joint.

Increase speed, strength and endurance in your sport. Improved body mechanics, postural alignment and breathe control. We will teach you correct muscle firing patterns for more fluid movement and better distribution of force and stability.

REFORM ELTHAM

Reform Eltham focuses on small group classes to enable correct technique and specific exercises for individual needs. The studio has free weights, kettlebells, TRX, balance equipment and the most comfortable ‘rehabilitation’ reformers. These reformers are longer and wider than the traditional reformer and are therefore much more comfortable to lie on.
